大球盖菇是国际菇类交易市场上的十大品种之一，同时也是联合国粮农组织向发展中国家推荐栽培的珍稀食用菌之一。口感细腻，富含蛋白质、糖类、维生素、矿物质以及人体必需的氨基酸和多种生物活性物质，具有很高的营养价值和药用价值，有抗菌、抗肿瘤、抗氧化、降血糖、助消化、增强机体免疫力、预防冠心病以及缓解精神疲劳等功效。从大球盖菇的生物学特点、营养及生物活性成分、遗传与育种及栽培条件展开论述，并对大球盖菇今后的发展方向进行展望，以期为我国大球盖菇优良品种的培育和各地引种栽培提供参考依据。

Stropharia rugosoannulata is one of the top ten varieties in the international mushroom trading market and is also a rare edible fungus recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for cultivation in developing countries. It has a tender texture and is rich in proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids, and various bioactive compounds. It possesses significant nutritional and medicinal value, with antibacterial, anti-tumor, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, digestive-enhancing, immune-boosting, coronary heart disease-preventing, and mental fatigue-relieving properties. This review discusses the biological characteristics, nutritional and bioactive components, genetics and breeding, and cultivation conditions of S. rugosoannulata, and provides insights into its future development. The study aims to serve as a reference for the breeding of superior varieties and the introduction and cultivation of S. rugosoannulata in different regions of China.
